Moving a large learning environment to Moodle Workplace.

The challenge

A mature learning environment built around Totara needed to transition to Moodle Workplace while supporting a growing population of users, organizations, courses, and complex enrollment structures.

The work

I helped lead the migration effort, including platform architecture, tenant and cohort structures, course migration, automation, enrollment logic, visibility rules, and the transition of established learning operations into the new environment.

Making complex enterprise software easier to use.

I've spent years developing and delivering training around enterprise software, working directly with subject-matter experts and users to explain workflows that aren't always intuitive.

The work spans instructor-led training, digital learning, course development, product documentation, and customer enablement.

Training people who have to get the job done.

My professional work has included training government organizations on systems used for document management, public records, workflow, and digital government operations.

That experience has shaped how I approach learning: users don't need a tour of every feature. They need to understand how the system helps them accomplish the work they actually do.

Bridging product development and learning.

As a product manager, I've worked across development, QA, integrations, customers, and training. That means I can approach learning from the product side as well as the learner side.

This is particularly valuable when training needs to explain not just what software does, but why a workflow works the way it does.
